BLUFFTON, Ind. (WANE) — A Facebook post from the Wells County Sheriff’s Office has gained traction online after showing a group of more than a dozen inmates getting baptized Saturday.
The baptisms happened through the Wells County Jail’s chaplaincy program, which relies on volunteers to offer ministry programs to inmates.
Clem Reinhard, the volunteer chaplain for the Wells County Sheriff’s Office, has helped with various forms of ministry at the jail since 2004. The services offered to inmates range from Bible studies to recovery programs, which are overseen by Reinhard and roughly 18 other volunteers…
