Fort Wayne, Ind. (WFFT) – – Super Shot hosted their second and final vaccine drive Thursday in support of the Indiana Department of Health’s “Start Smart!” campaign. The initiative is focused on getting students up-to-date on their vaccines by the start of the new semester.
The Fort Wayne-based non-profit offers all vaccines recommended by local school districts ahead of the 2025-26 school year.
“It’s so important to start school up to date,” Super Shot Executive Director Connie Heflin says. “It really does protect their peers, their classmates, their teachers, and the staff at the whole school. It creates a healthy school environment.”
