FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — On Friday, the Vice and Narcotics Division of the Fort Wayne Police arrested another man in connection to an alleged dogfighting ring.
Newton Arnold has been arrested and charged with 14 counts of purchasing or possessing an animal for fighting, 1 count of possession of animal fighting paraphernalia, and one count of possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon.
These charges follow the arrest of Trevel Bell on Tuesday, when 22 dogs and puppies were rescued from a suspected dogfighting operation.
