FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — Traffic is flowing again on I-69 Tuesday morning following a crash involving several vehicles that shut down part of the interstate around the Goshen Road exit.
The Fort Wayne Police Department issued an alert on X around 7:50 a.m. saying to avoid the area and that initial reports indicate eight vehicles were involved in the crash. Footage from the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) showed a line of vehicles pulled onto the shoulder of the road.
According to INDOT, the left lane of southbound I-69 was temporarily closed. Google Maps showed southbound traffic was backed up past the Coldwater Road interchange.
