U.S. Attorney: Fort Wayne man caught with meth and guns

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) — Brock E. Russell, 45, of Fort Wayne has been sentenced to over 15 years in prison after pleading guilty to drug and firearm charges, according to Acting United States Attorney M. Scott Proctor.

In February 2024, law enforcement stopped a car Russell was driving and found about five pounds of methamphetamine along with a digital scale. Further investigation revealed Russell, a multi-convicted felon, possessed numerous firearms, which he is prohibited from having.

“Brock Russell aimed to distribute a large amount of meth—five pounds—into our communities,” Proctor said. “He further endangered those communities by possessing firearms that federal law prohibited him from possessing.”…
