Woman dies after 3-car crash in Fort Wayne
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WISH) — A passenger in an SUV died in a crash with a tanker truck and a pickup truck Thursday morning on I-69 in Fort Wayne, the city’s police department said in a news release.
The crash of the tanker, a Ford F150 truck and the Ford Expedition SUV happened just after 7:10 a.m. Thursday in the southbound lanes between the U.S. 24 West /Jefferson Boulevard and State Road 14 West/Illinois Road interchanges.
Six other people from the SUV were injured in the crash and taken to a hospital for treatment of injuries not believed to be life-threatening, said Sgt. Jonathan Cutler of Fort Wayne Police Department in a livestreamed, impromptu news conference near the crash scene…
