Fort Wayne teen in jail after fleeing police in stolen car

BOURBON, Ind. (WFFT) — A high-speed pursuit early Monday, August 10, led to the arrest of 19-year-old Damion L. Jeffrey from Fort Wayne.

Authorities observed Jeffrey traveling at 110 mph on US Highway 30 West near Bourbon, Indiana, where the speed limit is 60 mph. He was driving a 2018 Jeep that was later found to be stolen from a car dealership in Kosciusko County, near Warsaw, Indiana.

Both a Marshall County Sheriff’s deputy and a Bourbon Police Department officer attempted to stop Jeffrey, but he fled, leading to a high-speed chase. The pursuit ended several miles away in Plymouth, Indiana…
