FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — Friday, a man received his sentence over two years after the murder of a widely-known woman in Fort Wayne.
Following a guilty verdict in July, Devonte Travier has been sentenced to 95 years in prison on multiple charges in connection with the murder of Diasha Fitts, who was a popular local barber, as well as additional drug charges.
He was found guilty of murder, dealing methamphetamine, resisting law enforcement, and obstruction of justice.

His sentencing follows the 80-year sentencing of Demaury Haywood, who received his in October of 2023.
