Downtown Fort Wayne recognizes Unsung Heroes each year at it’s Celebrate Downtown event.
Bryan Peterson, Chief of EMS for the Northwest Fire District was one of five honorees this year. In a partnership between Downtown Fort Wayne and WANE15, the organizations are spotlighting the heroes during Positively Fort Wayne segments on WANE15.
Tamara Cummins, Events & Programs Manager for DFW, says the partnership is a natural fit.
“Every community has people who go above and beyond who often don’t get any recognition at all,” she says. “Celebrate Downtown is one of our favorite events of the year. It’s an awesome night to celebrate folks in our community that often, people haven’t heard of.”…
