FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — “Doctor, detective sergeant is what my guys call me,” joked Christopher Felton, a detective with the Fort Wayne Police Department (FWPD) who wears a multitude of hats. “Main title is detective sergeant with our gang and violent crime unit… I also have my PHD in criminal justice and I have been a college professor since 2013 at Trine and Indiana Tech.”
That PHD came with a dissertation concerning procedural justice.
