Teens arrested for Saturday shooting in Fort Wayne
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WISH) — A 14-year-old boy and a 13-year-old boy were arrested Thursday for their alleged roles in a Fort Wayne shooting.
On Aug. 23, Fort Wayne Police Department (FWPD) officers responded to a shooting investigation in the 4400 block of Bowser Avenue after a man was found suffering from a gunshot wound. The man was transported to an area trauma center in life-threatening condition. FWPD homicide detectives arrived and conducted a criminal investigation.
Detectives identified a 14-year-old male juvenile and a 13-year-old male juvenile as suspects in the shooting. On Thursday, officers arrested both suspects in the 3700 block of Gaywood Drive. Both suspects have been preliminarily charged with attempted murder (acting in concert) and burglary…
