Adams County Sheriff’s Office hosts first inmate baptism ceremony inside county jail

DECATUR, Ind. — Nine inmates at the Adams County Jail were baptized Saturday in the facility’s first-ever baptism ceremony, organized by the Adams County Sheriff’s Office in partnership with the Jail Ministry and Project Connect.

“This milestone reflects our shared belief that accountability and redemption can go hand in hand,” Sheriff Daniel Mawhorr said.
