ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) — Scam emails have been plaguing the inboxes of Allen County residents, and county officials warn to disregard the illegitimate emails.
According to a press release from the Allen County Board of Commissioners, the emails are being sent from the address, “[email protected]”.
Emails from the address are being sent to residents alleging that their project has been approved by the staff at the ‘Allen County Planning Commission’. The emails also ask that the recipient send an email back to the address and complete a wire transfer payment…
