AUBURN, Ind. (WANE) A truck rolled over on I-69 in DeKalb County Friday morning, disrupting traffic in both directions for a couple of hours. The scene has since been cleared and traffic is flowing normally again.
According to the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department, the dump truck was heading north when the right front tire blew out, causing the driver to lose control near the rest stop south of Auburn. The truck hit the cable barrier in the median and rolled onto its side. The truck was hauling river rock, which spilled across the road.
Both north and southbound lanes were closed while the truck was removed by a wrecker. The driver was taken to hospital for complaints of leg and head pain…
