1 dies in Fort Wayne police shooting

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — An armed suspect was killed and a Fort Wayne officer was injured during a police shooting in Allen County.

According to Indiana State Police, an Allen County Sheriff’s deputy noticed a suspicious vehicle parked near the intersection of Schwartz and Irving Roads in Fort Wayne around 8 p.m. Friday.
