Man in Miami County police shooting sentenced to 29 years for felonies

PERU, Ind. (WISH) — A former Fort Wayne man on Monday was sentenced to 29 years in prison after a jury found him guilty of multiple felonies related to a January police shooting in Miami County.

After a four-day trial, a Miami Circuit Court jury in August found Marco Anguiano guilty of a mid-level felony count of unlawful possession of a firearm by a serious violence felony, and low-level felony counts of intimidation, pointing a firearm at another, and resisting law enforcement.
