Indiana teen’s ordeal in Fort Wayne triggers nationwide manhunt

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) — Authorities are on the hunt for a Louisiana fugitive accused of serious crimes against a teenage girl in Fort Wayne. Antonio Raemone Lewis Jr., 35, is wanted for rape and promoting child sexual trafficking in Allen County. He is considered armed and dangerous.

Court documents reveal that on September 29, 2024, a 16-year-old girl left a group home in Fort Wayne, Indiana, after an argument. Antonio Lewis, described as a skinny Black male with dreadlocks, approached her in a white Jeep, offering a ride. Once she got in, Lewis reportedly contacted Deshawn Spencer, saying, “I found one.” Spencer allegedly responded that money could be made.

The teen was taken to Spencer’s residence, where she was assaulted by both men. Over several days, she was forced to perform sex acts with around 12 men for money. The victim identified Lewis as the one who first contacted her and facilitated her transport to Spencer’s house.
