FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – A Fort Wayne woman says she has seen more than just buses at the city’s Baker Street bus station lately; she has noticed spotted lanternflies – an invasive insect officials warn could pose a major threat to Indiana’s trees and crops.
Elizabeth Dahlkamp spends many days waiting for her bus downtown and says the bugs have become a regular sight.
Dahlkamp says she hopes to never encounter them at home, “I’d probably kill it, or, in all honesty, I’d get my fiancé to kill it,” she says…
