FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – A woman pleaded guilty to aggravated battery Thursday in connection to a shooting this past November at a Fort Wayne motel.
According to Allen Superior Court documents, Breanna Ramirez was accused of firing one shot from a semiautomatic handgun, hitting a man on Nov. 22, 2024. Investigators determined the man had knocked on the woman’s motel room door and stepped inside briefly before running out and yelling “don’t shoot me,” just before Ramirez allegedly did.
Somebody “dumped off” the victim at a hospital, where the man was determined to be in life-threatening condition, police said in court documents. He had to be taken to a trauma hospital for a gunshot wound in his pelvis, where medics got him to be stable but still in critical condition on a ventilator, according to court documents…
