FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Karl Behrens is halfway home to a Senior City Championship following Sunday’s opening round at Pine Valley.
Behrens shot 68 (-3), burying five birdies to take a four stroke lead heading into Monday’s final round. Behrens’ round was headlined by a birdie putt from the edge of the green on hole nine.
Jason Smith and Matt Schmidt are tied for second place after shooting 72 (+1) on Sunday. Last year’s Senior City Champion Chris Schweitzer is in a tie for fourth place with a score of 73 (+2)…
