ADAMS COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) – A horse-drawn buggy with nine people – including seven minors – was thrown off a road Tuesday night when the driver of a Jeep crashed into it.
Around 11:20 p.m., deputies with the Adams County Sheriff’s Office responded to the crash on the edge of Berne near the intersection of SR 218 and CR 000.
Investigators determined the buggy was in front of a Jeep on SR 218, and instead of slowing down and passing the buggy, the driver of the Jeep allegedly crashed right into it.
