FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — Fort Wayne is making a budget in an unprecedented year.
Senate Bill One (SB1) has restrained income tax revenue, and the city is putting together plans for what it has previously called “the best redevelopment site in the Midwest.“
Those clashing factors of trying to trim an already lean budget, and putting resources into development came out after Tuesday night’s city council meeting.
