Fort Wayne Animal Care and Control hosts spooky good time at Howl-o-Walkoween

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — Bring your furry friends and best costumes to Fort Wayne Animal Care and Control’s Howl-o-Walkoween.

Howl-o-Walkoween will take place on Saturday, October 18, at Promenade Park from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

FWACC warns animal abuse could be an indicator of domestic violence

People are strongly encouraged to bring their pets to the walk. Dress up to compete in the costume contest starting at 11:30 a.m. Categories include best homemade costume, best group themed costume, spookiest costume, and most creative.

Money raised from Howl-o-Walkoween will go to the Fort Wayne Animal Care and Control Humane Education programs. These programs teach children about being kind to animals, reducing the likelihood of animal abuse in the future…
