Amazon cloud ‘headache’ affecting Fort Wayne businesses

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – The Fort Wayne area was not immune to Monday’s Amazon cloud computing outage that shut down several major services worldwide.

From Ring security cameras to Alexa speakers, Snapchat and the McDonald’s app, those and many more online services were interrupted, according to the Associated Press. Amazon Web Services said it was starting to recover from the problem about three hours after the outage began that morning.
