FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — The Three River Ambulance Authority (TRAA) has now extended its notice for halt of their Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD) services from 30 to 90 days.
The decision to issue the 30-day notice was made at their last board meeting on September 25.

TRAA says this is just a move to have more time to reach an agreement between them and the county for what compensated service could look like, as the ambulance authority expressed that they still want to provide the service to everyone in Allen County.
“Our goal is that when someone calls 911, they get the life-saving instruction, they get the life-saving information, the CPR instructions, stop the bleed instructions, ” Mike Manz, Director of Operations at TRAA, said. “We want every caller in the county to have access to that service; that’s our goal.”…
