FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) – As trick-or-treaters prepare to flood neighborhoods this Halloween, local health experts are reminding parents to make safety part of the plan.
According to Lutheran Health Network, around one-third of Halloween-related injuries are caused by falls, often from costumes that are too long or hard to walk in.
Visibility is another major concern since most trick-or-treating happens after dark, the recommendation is adding reflective tape, glow sticks, or flashlights to costumes so kids can be easily seen by drivers…
