FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — A man was found not guilty of his felony murder and attempted burglary charges, but the jury was hung on his murder charge in connection with two shooting victims from June.
Shan Lindell Ford was charged with felony murder, murder, and attempted burglary in June of this year. He was accused of being involved in the shooting that killed both 39-year-old Anisha Denise Jackson and 28-year-old Tornor Dejuan Doby.
The night of the shooting, according to court documents, Ford and Quenecia Gaylor, 37, approached Doby’s house near Weisser Park to confront him, leaving Jackson waiting in the car.
Gaylord told police in an interview that Doby started firing at all three of them, and ended up shooting Jackson, killing her. She continues to say that Ford “returned fire,” killing Doby.
