FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — With the goal of preserving affordable housing in Allen County, the Glick Company has completed the $8.56 million rehabilitation of an almost 50-year-old building.
The Edsall House hosted a ribbon-cutting on Thursday, celebrating the completion of 203 apartment renovations for the elderly and disabled.
Originally built in 1977, the Edsall House is a federally subsidized apartment complex that provides affordable housing for the elderly and those with disabilities. With the help of Tax-Exempt Bonds awarded by the Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority (IHCDA), the Glick Company was able to make over 203 apartment units.
