WARSAW – A Columbia City man has been arrested after a long pursuit with police.
Timothy Coy Longmeyer, 57, 3519 W. Lincolnway, Columbia City, is charged with possession of paraphernalia, a class C misdemeanor; and possession of methamphetamine and resisting law enforcement with a vehicle, both level 6 felonies.
On Oct. 30, Warsaw Police officers were observing the speed through the Lakeview Middle School zone. Officers observed a motorcycle driving westbound in the school zone at 39 mph, leading an officer to activate their lights for a traffic stop.
The motorcycle turned southbound onto McClellan Street, and officers observed the driver look back at the officer, continue driving, and toss a duffle bag at the intersection of Country Club Road and Shady Lane Road…
