Allen County prosecutor receives award honoring slain former attorney, magistrate

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – The Allen County Prosecutor’s Office’s chief counsel was honored on Wednesday at the first Conference on Domestic Violence.

Tesa Helge received the Marcia Linsky Advocacy Award, which recognizes “exceptional dedication and advocacy for victims of domestic violence in our community,” the prosecutor’s office says. Helge has worked for the agency since 2007, where she currently serves as the Homicide Division leader and previously oversaw the Sex Crimes Division.

Last month, Helge announced she is running for Allen County Prosecutor. The office said her “leadership and unwavering dedication have made a lasting impact on the citizens of this community.”…
