1 person dead after fire breaks out in southeast Fort Wayne

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – The Fort Wayne Fire Department is investigating a fire that broke out in a home early Tuesday morning that left one person dead. Fire crews responded around 1:30 a.m.

The home is located in the 3000 block of Reed Street. That’s southwest of the intersection of Anthony Boulevard and Pontiac Street.

Fire officials found a person inside the home. First responders attempted to save that person; however, they died…
