FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – Yesterday’s snowfall in Fort Wayne broke a nearly 100-year-old daily snowfall record. 2.7″ of snow was recorded yesterday which beats out the previous record of 1.2″ that was set back in 1928. This also marks the largest single day snow event in Fort Wayne since 6.2″ of snow fell almost 3 years ago on January 25, 2023!
Snow showers end today, and with it temperatures will slowly return to normal. Gusty conditions remain in the forecast which will make wind chills frigid through the day tomorrow…
