ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) — Former Allen County Sheriff Ken Fries has confirmed to WANE 15 that he is now planning to run for the role again in 2026.
Fries served eight years as the Allen County Sheriff and retired in 2015 due to term limits, as the Indiana Constitution limits a person to eight years in a 12-year period. He has also spent 34 years working in law enforcement.
