The downtown Fort Wayne restaurant scene will take a big hit when the folks at Pint & Slice, 816 S. Calhoun St., serve their last pint and last slice on Wednesday, Dec. 31.
In a social media post on Monday, Nov. 17, the owners broke many hearts when announcing the shop would be closing after 18 years.
“Food costs have roughly doubled in recent years, and the math just isn’t workable anymore for a small, family-run, handmade kitchen like ours,” the post reads. “So we’ve made the tough but proud choice to close up shop on our own terms, with our standards high and our chins up.”…
