FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) Motorists who use the U.S. 24/I-469 interchange can expect some changes in the coming weeks according to a news release from INDOT.
On Saturday, November 22, construction crews plan to switch southbound traffic back to the southbound side of I-469 from Stellhorn Road to U.S. 24. Removal of the barrier wall on the northbound side of I-469 is expected to take place next week.
On or after Monday, December 1, the southbound I-469 exit ramp to eastbound U.S. 24 is expected to reopen. Once the ramp to eastbound U.S. 24 reopens, traffic using the southbound exit ramp from I-469 to Rose Avenue will no longer be allowed to turn left to eastbound U.S. 24.
