WELLS COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) — A head-on crash between two cars resulted in one death; the other driver fled the scene and was later found.
The Wells County Sheriff’s Office detailed in a press release the crash report between a van and a 2013 GMC Terrain. The crash took place on Saturday at about 5:53 a.m. near State Road 218 and County Road 700 E in Bluffton.
When first responders arrived, the driver of the van was pinned inside. First responders began life-saving measures, but the driver succumbed to their injuries. The four other passengers in the van were taken to a nearby hospital with minor injuries…
