Driver who crashed into vehicles and a home during police chase in Fort Wayne identified

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) A driver killed when he crashed into vehicles and then a house after leading Fort Wayne police on a short chase Wednesday has been identified by the Allen County Coroner’s Office.

Cameron Dylan Parker, 23, of Fort Wayne died from blunt force injuries sustained in the crash. Authorities determined Parker was not wearing a seat belt and his death has been ruled accidental.

According to the Fort Wayne Police Department, around 10:15 p.m. Wednesday, an officer near Northcrest Shopping Center saw a pickup speeding on N. Clinton St. The officer tried to catch up, and watched as the driver turned onto eastbound St. Joe Center Rd. and then entered the Papermill Bluffs neighborhood…
