FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — A Fort Wayne man is undergoing surgery as part of treatment for his cancer diagnosis, keeping him from his yearly occupation as Santa this holiday season.
Gary Coffelt has been spreading Christmas cheer as Santa since he was just 16 until his recent cancer diagnosis. He was diagnosed with a highly uncommon case of stage 2 lung cancer.
