FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — Fort Wayne Police are working to redirect traffic on I-69 after a crash occurred in north Fort Wayne.
FWPD had temporarily shut down northbound traffic due to the crash, but has since reopened the road to two lanes. Traffic has resumed flowing smoothly.
Friday afternoon, a crash caused the northbound traffic of I-69 to come to a halt near the 312-mile marker of I-69, or Coldwater Road. A public safety alert was sent out just before 4:30 p.m., warning drivers to seek an alternative route.
