Traditions on the tree farm; St. Joe Christmas Tree Farm is Positively Fort Wayne

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Picking out the perfect Christmas tree is more than a holiday errand. A local Christmas tree farm makes sure it keeps the event a tradition. The St. Joe Christmas Tree Farm keeps the holiday spirit growing and is Positively Fort Wayne.

On a snowy December day at the St. Joe Christmas Tree Farm, it’s not just the trees that keep families coming back. It’s the traditions they grow here together.

“I mean, Clark Griswold. I mean, what’s better than loading up the truck and coming out and cutting down a tree? And I think this is the first year that we’ve done it before it’s actually snowed,” said Jay Priest, who traveled from Ohio with his family to get a tree. “We’ve been coming here, now to the Saint Joe Farm, for the last five years. It’s a good tradition with the boys. It gets them out. It gets them in the Christmas spirit. And it’s a great way to kick off the season.”
