The Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission (IURC) will hold a public hearing on December 17, 2025, in Fort Wayne to gather public input.
The City of Fort Wayne is seeking a three-phase $10.3 million increase in annual operating revenues and approval to issue up to $70 million in long-term debt. The rate hike aims to cover rising operational costs and infrastructure improvements, including lead service line replacements and water distribution upgrades.
