Fort Wayne, Ind. (WOWO) — The Fort Wayne Street Department will resume leaf collection on Tuesday, December 16, beginning in central neighborhoods to finish the first round of pickup. Crews expect to start the second round on December 22 in the city’s south neighborhoods, with plans to continue in the north and central areas in early January. All dates remain weather dependent.
Daily updates on collection progress will be posted before 3 p.m. at the city’s leaf collection webpage, which also includes a service map and detailed guidelines. Residents can also hear recorded updates by calling 260-427-2603.
