FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – A spokesperson for the Fort Wayne Police Department (FWPD) says one person is in life-threatening condition following a shooting Monday morning on the city’s northeast side.
Police say they were called about a shooting at 9:35 a.m., finding a victim at Lake and Laverne Avenues, across from the Fort Wayne Catholic Cemetery.
After finding the victim there, police say they learned the shooting actually happened at Carrington Field in Daryl B. Cobin Memorial Park, along North Coliseum Boulevard…
