FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – The Indiana State Police’s Fort Wayne district has a new K-9 unit.
A graduation ceremony was held on Wednesday, Dec. 10, where seven new ISP Patrol K-9 Handlers and their partners were honored. Among the graduates was Trooper Bryce Kanning and partner “Enzo” of the Fort Wayne district.
The 12-week training process occurs over the course of 8-10 hours each day in Indianapolis, covering a wide array of skills, from tracking and detection to handler protection. The K-9s are certified through the Dogs for Law Enforcement Organization…
