Tretau brings $18M investment and 70+ jobs to Fort Wayne

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) — Tretau, operating as Tau Wire Corp, is set to open its first manufacturing plant outside of Europe in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

The company plans to invest over $18 million and create more than 70 new jobs over the next four years. The new facility will mirror Tretau’s Pianezza, Italy site, incorporating eco-friendly coating technology and smart manufacturing systems. Full operations are expected to start in 2026.
