FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – Fort Wayne homeowner Matt Ellenwood has more than 40,000 Christmas lights on his home, including animatronic reindeer, a gingerbread house with gingerbread smoke and a place for you to mail your letters to Santa.
It started as a family tradition.
“There’s been some years that I’ve been out there Wednesday before Thanksgiving in pouring down rain putting up extension cords, trying to get it finalized and ready to go,” he said. “We turn it on Thanksgiving night after dinner. When the family’s here, we all come outside, and I turn it on and turn the computers on and get everything going.”…
