OSSIAN, Ind. (WANE) — A Christmas Eve special session has been called to discuss a fire protection contract for Jefferson Township, and the meeting will be one member lighter after a member of the Jefferson Township Advisory Board resigned.
“This shall serve as my termination notice effective immediately,” reads a portion of (R) Tim Baker’s resignation letter. “The Township needs fire protection and I cannot sign the proposed agreement presented by the Town of Ossian.”
