Man confesses to killing woman at Auburn home: court docs

AUBURN, Ind. (WANE) – A convicted violent felon now accused of killing a woman at his Auburn home this past weekend confessed the crime to police, according to DeKalb Superior Court documents filed Monday.

Lonnie Cox now faces a murder charge in connection to the killing.

Sunday, the 75-year-old went to the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department and admitted to shooting a woman at his home on Ensley Avenue the day before, according to court documents.
