Santa’s trolley rolls through Waynedale neighborhoods on Christmas Eve

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT)– Santa Claus will be making his way through Waynedale neighborhoods on a trolley this Christmas Eve as part of a holiday tradition now in its fifth year.

The decorated white trolley is scheduled to begin its route at 1 p.m. and will slowly travel through nine neighborhoods, giving families time to wave, smile and interact with Santa as he passes by. Organizers say the route is expected to wrap up around 4 p.m.

“We meander through about nine different neighborhoods at a very slow pace so everybody has a chance to interact with Santa,” said Camille Garrison, a Waynedale committee member…
