FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – The City of Fort Wayne’s Community Development Division says it is seeking proposals for professional consulting services to create a downtown plan that will guide future investment, growth, and development for the next ten years.
Fort Wayne’s current downtown plan, Blueprint for the Future, was adopted in 2003. The City says that subsequent updates to that plan and additional reports and studies have led to more than $1 billion in investment in the heart of Fort Wayne over the last 22 years.
“It’s vital to recognize where we’ve been and where we want to go in the future,” said Mayor Sharon Tucker. “Investing resources in an updated plan for our thriving downtown will help ensure ongoing opportunities to make Fort Wayne the best city possible.”…
